World’s Only Illusion Art Museum in Pattaya, Thailand

Upon arriving back in Thailand, Jen’s cousins, Meow and Jan took us to the world’s only Illusion Art Museum in Pattaya, Thailand.  I didn’t know what to expect and because of my education in art, I had thought it was some form of art installation.  When I got there I realized there is no installation part of the art, instead it is all paint.  My understanding of installation art is that it is 3 dimensional, yet this not using 3 dimensional objects, rather using 3 dimensional perspective with 2 dimensional paintings.  It drew on this primary theme which set the tone for the museum.  Because this is thailand and there is art on the floor, everyone is required to take their shoes off for the duration of their visit.  Pattaya is a tourist destination for their beaches, yet unfortunately, because it had attracted so many tourists, the beaches have suffered and trash now covers lots of the beaches.  Still there are lots of shopping and intriguing stuff in Pattaya.  What really weirded me out were the food stops on the way home.  There were many of them, yet they all were exactly the same.  They were perfect clones of each other right down to the layout of each product.  Talk about no originality or uniqueness!001 002 003 004 006 007 008 009 010 011 012 013 014 015 016 017 018 019 020 021 022 023 024 025 026 027 028 029 030 031 032 033 034 035 036 037 038 039 040 041 042 043 044llu
